After many remote voice over sessions, countless review notes, and a bevy of playlist links, we\u2019re coming off our first full year entirely remote. We\u2019re also wrapping up one of our most successful. Our team has expanded, basking in the all too familiar glow of our ProTools sessions with a few more faces in a few more cities. Take a look at each project our Sound, Score, and Toolbox teams took on this year! We break it down by medium below:<\/center><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" style=\"text-align: center;\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<h4 id=\"h-television\" class=\"has-text-align-center\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Television<\/h4>\n<p><center>Overall, our team contributed to\u00a0<strong>135 shows<\/strong>. In total, that\u2019s\u00a0<strong>460 episodes<\/strong>\u00a0and over\u00a0<strong>160 hours in runtime<\/strong>.<\/center><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/sound\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Flavorlab Sound<\/a>\u00a0worked with\u00a0<strong>15 networks<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<strong>37 series or specials<\/strong>. This resulted in\u00a0<strong>247 episodes<\/strong>\u00a0of television and over\u00a0<strong>140 hours in runtime<\/strong>. As in years past, we worked predominantly in unscripted TV. Improv and talk comedy shows such as\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vh1.com\/shows\/nick-cannon-presents-wild-n-out\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wild \u2018N Out<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cc.com\/shows\/tha-gods-honest-truth-with-charlamagne-tha-god\">Tha God\u2019s Honest Truth<\/a><\/em>, and a number of limited series for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">History Channel<\/a>, made up some of our more regular projects in 2021.<\/center><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-12992 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-12993 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/score\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Flavorlab Score<\/a>\u00a0&amp;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/producers-toolbox\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Producer\u2019s Toolbox<\/a>\u00a0teams provided music for\u00a0<strong>38 networks<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>100 shows<\/strong>. This totalled\u00a0<strong>226 episodes<\/strong>\u00a0and over\u00a0<strong>22 hours in runtime<\/strong>. Like the sound team, our music teams mainly saw airplay in unscripted television. Reality shows like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/catfish-the-tv-show\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Catfish: The TV Show<\/em><\/a>, documentary series like BET\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt14198098\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Boiling Point<\/em><\/a>, and sports coverage on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbssports.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CBS Sports<\/a>\u00a0constituted many of our placements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13004 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/3-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13005 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/4-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" \/><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"h-film\" class=\"has-text-align-center\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Film<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center>In 2021, the sounds of Flavorlab graced the silver screen (or more aptly, many a living room) in\u00a0<strong>15 films<\/strong>. We worked with longtime partners like Synthetic Cinema International and new production companies like Irrelevant Media alike. Our sound team mixed and edited roughly\u00a0<strong>18.5 hours<\/strong>\u00a0of film. The genre breakdown of those projects is below. Our music teams saw placements in three films, joining the sound team on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/the-breakdown-parables\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>The Breakdown Parables\u00a0<\/em><\/a>and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.filmswithapurpose.net\/oyate#:~:text=OYATE%20elevates%20the%20voices%20of,sovereign%20and%20sustainable%20future%20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Oyate<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(release in 2022) on music supervision.<\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13008 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/Holiday-26.7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" \/><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"h-ads-promo-psa\" class=\"has-text-align-center\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Ads, Promo, &amp; PSA<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center>In the short form, Flavorlab worked on\u00a0<strong>70 spots<\/strong>\u00a0last year. This resulted in around\u00a0<strong>92 minutes of airtime<\/strong>. Projects were pretty evenly split between health, sports, professional services, and film &amp; TV.<\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13028 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/8-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13029 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/9-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Some highlights include mixing promo for the\u00a0<strong>UEFA Champions League<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Rockettes\u2019 Christmas Spectacular<\/strong>, mixing artist spotlights for the\u00a0<strong>VMAs<\/strong>, providing original music to promote season 2 of\u00a0<strong><em>Side Hustle<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0on Nickelodeon, and sound designing and mixing a number of\u00a0<strong>COVID-19 PSAs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13011 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" \/><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-13012 lazyloaded\" src=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"480\" \/><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"h-podcasts\" class=\"has-text-align-center\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Podcasts<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center>Moving on to sound in its purest form, our team worked on\u00a0<strong>7 audio projects<\/strong>\u00a0in 2021. This totalled around\u00a0<strong>23.5 hours in runtime<\/strong>. Flavorlab Score wrote original music for podcasts\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/adickted-with-andy-dick\/id1560923811\">Adickted with Andy Dick<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>and Michael Fenenbock\u2019s\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/sinatra-matters\/id1596441455\">Sinatra Matters<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>Our sound team mixed four podcast series including\u00a0<em>Adickted<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flavorlab.com\/the-trouble-with-sex\/\">The Trouble With Sex<\/a><\/em>\u00a0and audio book,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.audible.com\/pd\/The-Christmas-Pig-Audiobook\/B092NZ1K9Y\">The Christmas Pig<\/a><\/em>\u00a0by J.K. Rowling, exclusively on Audible.\u00a0<\/center><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-spacer\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/div>\n<h4 id=\"h-corporate-live-events\" class=\"has-text-align-center\">Corporate\/Live Events<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><center>Finally, organizations and businesses took conferencing online to a new level last year. Our sound team provided sound design, mix, and voice over for\u00a0<strong>27 events and internal campaigns<\/strong>. These programs were made up of a total of\u00a0<strong>109 videos<\/strong>\u00a0and around\u00a0<strong>8.5 hours<\/strong>\u00a0of runtime.
