Rania Sohail

Graduate Research Assistant

Rania Sohail is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Khurshid Labs where she is assisting the Social and Health Information Platform (SHIP) team on sustainability, scalability, and knowledge creation. She is a current graduate student at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at UT Austin specializing in international development and social policy. Rania has four years of research and consultancy experience in public health, criminal justice reforms, and public service delivery with provincial governments, implementation partners, and academics in Pakistan, Qatar, and the United States. She is particularly interested in addressing social inequality through improved governance and community engagement, human capital development, gender and health equity outcomes, and technology for social welfare. At the Khurshid Labs, Rania is creating user guides, producing briefs and manuscripts, and involved in project sustainability initiatives.
